I have the 599Karambit I carry the trainer as a non lethal alternative to a live blade i also use it as a trainer Fox makes extremely well made knives they are tools. i use it as such it can be used as pain compliance device and you can do locks less than lethal strikes but it can also be lethal if needed be this company has good products for very competive (s) prices they mail out the knives very fast an they are well packed. this knife will take a lot of abuse aka training strikes on bags cardboard tubes, pvc pipes tires . with a orange handle, holes in the blade its easy for law enforcement to see its a non sharpened blade. I have over 50 years in urban combative training and known as a pro on the streets salute
